This is the karaoke of the song Idhu Varai (Kaadhal Endral) from the movie Goa, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. This karaoke was fully made using only FL studio 8. No loops, no samples. I tried my best to make the replica of the song. Please listen to it and leave your comments.

My Comp.. !!
Hi. Did this when i was bored. One is Ilayaraja's 'En Ulle' song from the movie Valli and the second one is a very famous song 'I Like To Move It' by Reel to Real. I did not make the full version of it cuz it eats much of my time (which i didn't wanna waste cuz i get only 2 days off :-( ). So they are less than a minute (Can use as a ringtone though :P). Since facebook doesnt support 4shared links, I'm putting it in my blog. Please listen to it and leave your comments. Merci Beaucoup :-)

Rahman- Neither Endhiran nor Robot!!
People always wanted to do things apart from what they meant to do (atleast have an urge!). Be it anyone. The 'little extra' thing you do really defines you. Lately, the trouble encompassing the CWG theme composed by Oscar winner A.R.Rahman infuriates me. The corruption and venality that surrounds the CWG has now become incredibly small in front of the CWG theme song issue. Politician's new stint as music virtuosos have outmeasured any other country's politicians. The number of thumbs down was more in the rating of the CWG theme. We all know about the magic of Rahman's composition. When most of the music aficionados have admitted the 'drug effect' of Rahman's music, politicians have now want to see themselves as music juries to judge Rahman's music. My blood boiled when Rahman was asked to re compose the tune. Rahman was not even paid the amount he demanded. Yet Rahman worked so hard to bring out the best from him to give out the CWG theme. Complaints were profuse when he needed extra time for the completion like he was working for some random Hollywood project. People must know that after all, even rahman is a human being. I was glad to see the music fraternity had supported him and had given positive response for the song. People who has the quality and capability to comment on his theme has given positive comments when politicians who knows only to scrape off people's money had given negative comments. As i said, People always wanted to do things apart from what they meant to do.
Everyone wants everyone to do something great for thier country. Even when someone emerges out from the whirlpool of corruption and ugly politics, there comes the imprudent set of politicians who wanted to get publicity one way or the other. People want Rahman to win Oscars, do Hollywood projects as well as Bollywood, Kollywood, Tollywood, Mollywood etc at the same time, win every award in the world, do everything what everyone says etc etc etc. Imagine, he is human as well. People just dont put themselves in his shoes. Rather they complaint with obsurd statements that Rahman only works for Hollywood projects. People here wants Rahman to give importance to India. Of course. But at the same time they also want him to win Oscars. How can one win Oscars doing Bollywood and Kollywood projects? I wanted people to see Rahman as a human first, then a musician. There were millions of Rahman fans all over the world even before he had won Oscars. That is the kind of talent Rahman has, to make eveyone dance to his tunes, irrespective of the age.
I really dont like it when people point at some random MDs and tell he is Rahman's competitor. No one really has the quality to compete with Rahman. If Ilayaraja comes into this picture, then its a big NO. Ilayaraja and Rahman cannot be compared and shouldnt be compared. They are good in their times. Its Rahman who is ruling now. Lets learn to appreciate that. The amount of creativity in bringing out a good music is significant when composing music. Rahman and Ilayaraja were really good at it. But they cannot be compared anyways. Some say Ilayaraja was able to give mellifulous tracks when there was no much teachnology. I agree. But it needs really good talent to rule the world with music made using modern technology. To be unique, One has to keep updating himself on latest music technologies, like Rahman.
Please do not compare Yuvan and Harris with Rahman. They are not worth to be compared with him. The kind of music what Rahman does is not even close to what they do. Once i even started an argument with a stranger in the bus who said that Yuvan is the next Rahman when Yuvan couldnt even cross Chennai. No one in the world can become Rahman. No one actually can. To be short and precise- Yuvan copies under 'inspiration' cloak, Harris just copies. To compare between the two, Yuvan, who steals from non-English songs and gives a strong hip hop influence in his songs is better than Harris, who follows a pattern no matter the story. Both are good but sometimes when we listen to their song which sounds similar to an English song, thats when they lose credit.
I started this post with exposing my anger on behalf of Rahman fans and slowly drifted to eulogize him (That happens to all rahman fans!). The main point of this post is- Stop accusing Rahman for nothing. He had given excellent music till now and he is the only one experimenting music and constanlty giving out hits. Lets wait and see how the CWG theme comes out. Im pretty sure the ones who were against it will soon be in favour of it (that will be a little easy for politicians!).

''--=--;> "B"-.-"O"-.-"R"-.-"E"-.-"D" <;--=--''
I dont wanna start with the usual 'After a long time im posting a blog' statement. Oh, I think i just did. Anyways, life after being employed is fun in many ways. When there are so many people outside who writes codes even in their dreams, why did Cognizant chose me? There must be a reason for eveything. And im happy that im in One Of The Fastest Growing Companies In The World.
There is something called "training" in every company where the newbies are SUPPOSED to learn few technologies. Cognizant owns something called the 'Academy' where the freshers are trained on whatever technology they are put in. My 3 months of training was fun to its exent. The one thing i hate about the Academy is that it gives you all opportunities to bond with your collegues so close that you so wanna be with them even after training. Even in my college farewell i was not as much saddened as i was when i left the Academy. We were 23 in our batch and we all wanted to stay together no matter what. But unforunately, that didnt happen. People were put in different places. Luckly, some people were put in the same location but under different managers. Unluckily, I was put alone. Im put in a "big project" which was recently launched. So my manager said there will be so much for me to learn compared to my friends.
Now im here in the alloted location, in the alloted cabin, with a alloted computer with no alloted work. My manager has so much work that he forgot the fact that a newbie joined his team. Im NOT dying to work, of course. But something is better than nothing. The bay where im put in is so wierd. People dont talk much to each other. Even if they talk, they only talk about Java and codes and crap. People look like they've lost their life the moment they stepped into this project. Im here sitting what to do next, chat with all my collegues and ask for updates, check mails, have coffee, play games, just do everything what can otherwise be done. The birth of this post is also one of the reason for my boredom. Thanks to my manager who didnt make me occupied with work which made me write this post after almost a year. Hail boredom. :-)

Vinnaithandi Varuvaya Guitar Chords..!
Hi. This is The Legend A.R.Rahman's Vinnaithandi Varuvaya chords. I've found these chords myself. Some chords will be in brackets which means they have to be strummed instead of plucking. Some chords here are played in alternate ways and here I've numbered it in square bracket for convenience (To know, scroll down for the tabs). I guess its the right chords. If you find any chords wrong, correct me.
This is how the starting goes:

Vinnaithandi Varuvaya album review.
Aaoromale- Awesome guitar work. I loved the style of the song. Its so different with a feel of rock and lot of blues style backing. Alphons Joseph has sung really well. One of the best track in the album.
Anbil Avan- Devan and Chinmayi has sung it. Hard synth and mridhangam is an awesome combo. Rahman proves once again that he is the best. Felix Mendelssohn's Wedding March comes in between, soon after which our very own Mangalyam music takes over with strings and chorus. The song ends with church organ and mridhangam backing the song.
Hosanna- I've become a fan of Vijay Prakash soon after listening to Manmohini Moore from Yuvvraj. Vijay Prakash is an excellent choice for this song. Blaaze's rap was unusual as usual. Suzanne D'Mello's backing vocals singing "Hosanna" was remarkable. This song was released long back in the internet and i believe was also the song which created great interest among Rahman fans to buy this album. One of the best track in the album.
Kannukkul Kannai- Ultimate violin, electric guitar and cello combo in the song. Nice song with Naresh Iyer rendering his voice. I keep listening to this song again and again just for the violin-electric guitar-cello combo. Its just super.
Mannipaaya- One of the best in the album. I loved the chords in the song. A. R. Rahman & Shreya Ghoshal would have sung really well. I like the part when Rahman sings "Urugi Urugi.." and there is a lapse in the beat (or a slightly different beat pattern). Chorus with flute, sitar and piano is super. Wonder how the song is shot!
Omana Penne- One of the best in the album. Benny Dayal & Kalyani Menon have lent voices. The auto-tune work in Benny's singing is just beautiful. The song is even more beautiful when Kalyani Menon comes in with her singing in Malayalam. With a little suppressed Nadhaswaram backing the song, it sounds mellifluous. Benny's style of style singing in the song is good as usual.
Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa- My favorite track. Only Rahman can compose something like this. Awesome chords. I feel like flying every time i listen to it. Karthik has sung it. This is one of the best track in the album.
Every song in this album is really good. But some people feel that the album is more adhered to Hollywood and western style of music. Maybe its because the film might've needed that type of music. Rahman's music is always good but its best when its heard with the video. So lets all wait for the movie to release. After all, its A.R.Rahman's album. What do you expect other than awe-inspiring music?
